Dear Dear Friend & Neighbor,

It’s been an honor serving as your Trustee on the Orange County Board of Education. During my tenure on the Board, I have strived to keep giving students and parents the best educational options possible. I want for your students to achieve academic excellence. This can occur for any student not withstanding where they are from through school choice. Students and their parents should not be limited in their choice of a school because of their zip code.

In order for students to be successful they need their parents as their primary support system. This is why I supported the “Parents Bill of Rights” policy passed by our Board that gives parents the right to know what is going on with their children at school.

Our Board recently had a forum on how to have students be safer at school. We will enhance the safety of our students at school which is our number 1 priority.
